How Do I Reinstall the Basemap for My Garmin Wearable or Edge Device?
Garmin Express™ software has the ability to reinstall the basemap on your Garmin® watch or Edge® cycling computer if it has been mistakenly removed or deleted from your device. This process will reinstall the basemap if your device detects that it's missing:
Connect your device to your computer using the Garmin branded cable.
Open Garmin Express.
After syncing, select Map Details.
Click Map Options.
Click Reinstall Map.
