Third Party Monitors For the Garmin GPSMAP 84xx, 86xx, and 87xx

The GPSMAP 87xx Black Box supports the following screen resolutions:

• 1024x768

• 1280x1024

• 1920x1080

• 1920x1200

The GPSMAP 84xx / 86xx Series will only support the screen resolution of the chartplotter's display this information is found in the tables at the back of the Owner's Manual. Refer to the specific unit for screen resolution. 

Non-touch screen monitors require the use of the Garmin Grid Remote:

• Grid 20 Vertical - Part Number 010-02011-00

• Grid 20 Horizontal - Part Number 010-02011-01

• Grid Vertical Only - Part Number 010-01024-00

  
  

If using a touch screen monitor, the monitor must use USB for implementing touch screen control, and would then connect using our OTG Adapter Cable:
