Red Light Safety and Speed Camera Alerts on a Garmin Dash Cam

Red Light and Speed Camera alerts (subscriptions sold separately) will allow your device to alert you to upcoming speed and red light cameras. Coverage is not available in all areas.

The following devices come pre-loaded with a trial of the camera service covering its home region, e.g. North American versions of the Garmin Dash Cam X110 will come with a trial of the US & Canada service.

The North American Garmin Dash Cam Tandem is not compatible with Red Light and Speed Camera subscriptions. The European version comes pre-loaded with subscription-free updates via Garmin Express.

Not all Dash Cam versions are compatible with Red Light and Speed Cameras. 

Example Red Light and Speed Camera Alert:

• The top left number is the current speed you are going (ex. 7 mph)
• The top right number in the circle is the posted speed limit (ex. 70 mph)
• Occasionally, you may see another number in the bottom right that indicates how far away the safety/speed camera is
