Insufficient Storage Error in the Earthmate App
If you are running out of storage space on an iPhone, iPad, or its Cloud Storage, the following error may be displayed in the Earthmate® app:

Delete content you no longer need and restart the app to try again. If the error persists try reinstall the app.
This error can also be caused by out of date software. To troubleshoot other potential causes for this error, try the following:
If your iPhone or iPad is in Airplane mode, disable Airplane mode.
When using the Earthmate app, make sure the app has been opened first, then power on your paired inReach® device after opening the app.
If you still encounter an error after powering on your inReach device, force close the Earthmate app, then reopen it. Check for updates to the Earthmate app. For instructions, see - Apple Support: How to manually update apps on your Apple device.
Check for system updates on your iPhone or iPad. For instructions, see - Apple Support: Update your iPhone or iPad.
Connect your inReach to a computer to check for software updates. For instructions, see - Updating inReach Firmware and Syncing Account Changes with inReach Sync.
Try backing up and deleting files you no longer need to free up space, including any Earthmate maps you have downloaded (see - Downloading and Managing Maps With the Earthmate App). You may need to restart your iPhone or iPad again after making any changes. Reach out to Apple Support if you are unsure of how to go about backing up, or deleting, your files.
