Master Reset for Alpha 100
On the Alpha® 100 dog tracking handheld there are a few instances in which performing a master reset may be needed.
- Not receiving a satellite signal
- Restoring the factory default settings
- Not functioning properly
NOTE: Performing a master reset can cause data loss. For help backing up user data, or if removing user data is desired to eliminate corrupt data or free up additional space, please see related content.
Performing a Master Reset
- Power Off the handheld
- Press and hold a finger on the upper left corner of the display
- Power On the handheld
- Wait to see, Do you really want to erase all user data?
- Release finger from the upper left side of the display
- Touch Erase
The device is now reset and ready for use. Allow the device up to 20 minutes to acquire satellite data with a clear view of the sky.
