Stereoscopic Viewing in the VIRB Mobile App
The stereoscopic video gives the impression of depth by doubling an on-screen video but slightly altering the angle of each side. This gives a video a three-dimensional effect and allows for an enhanced virtual reality (VR) experience when viewed through a VR headset.
The VIRB® 360 does not have the ability to directly record a stereoscopic image, however, the VIRB® Mobile App takes a 360-degree video from the VIRB 360 and display it stereoscopically for use with Google Cardboard or comparable equipment. For information on how to do this, see the "Using Virtual Reality (VR) Viewing Mode" section in the device's owner's manual.
