Manually Entering a Dive in the Garmin Dive App
The Garmin Dive™ app acts as a dive log for your diving history. You can use the app with or without a Garmin dive computer. To manually enter a dive into the app, follow the steps below.
Entering a Dive Manually
Open the Garmin Dive app.
Select Add.
Select Log Your Dive.
Select any field to enter the information.
Select Save.
After manually entering a dive, we recommend syncing your watch with the Dive App to ensure your total dive numbers are updated. The manually entered dive will then be available on the Home screen of the app and in your Profile Dive Log section. Viewing Dives in the Garmin Dive App has more information about viewing your dive history.
Syncing Dives Using a Garmin Dive Computer
Garmin dive computers can sync your diving data to the Garmin Dive app automatically. See Remove and Add a Descent Series Watch in the Garmin Dive App for instructions on how to pair your Garmin dive computer.
To see if your device is compatible with the Garmin Dive app, search for "Dive App" in your owner's manual.
Can I Import Dive Logs From a Third Party Site?
The Garmin Dive app is not able to import dive log files, but you can follow the steps above to manually enter your dive information.
