The Garmin Communicator Plugin (CPI) can be completely uninstalled on a Windows or Mac computer. The steps to uninstall the CPI will depend on how the CPI was installed. If the specific installation method is not known, try all methods for uninstalling the CPI to ensure it is completely uninstalled. Close out of any open browsers before starting the uninstall of the CPI.

On Windows, uninstalling the CPI involves backing up and making changes to the Windows Registry. If unsure or uncomfortable with making changes to the Registry, contact Product Support by phone. The Product Support phone numbers and hours can be found at http://www.garmin.com/us/support/contact
