Access Connect IQ App Settings Using Garmin Express

With App Settings you can configure the way a Connect IQ™ app behaves. This is especially useful for watch faces and data fields. You can set the values of the app settings in Garmin Express™ software.¹

NOTE: Settings are only available for Connect IQ items that are configurable. Settings that can be changed in configurable apps will vary based on how the app was designed by the developer.

Adjusting Settings with Garmin Express Software

1. Connect the device to the computer using the USB/Data cable.

2. Open the Garmin Express program.

3. Select the device.

4. Select IQ Apps.

5. Select next to the name of the app, data field, or watch face to open the settings.

   • You can also right-click on the item and select Settings.

6. Adjust any settings that are available for your selected app, data field, or watch face.

7. Select Save.

Settings will be saved to your device when it syncs. You can confirm whether the settings have been properly saved to your device by reopening the settings window.

¹ Certain requirements must be met to access the Connect IQ Store. Apps will only be available for Connect IQ compatible devices. When using a computer, Garmin Express software must be installed and up to date.
