Limitations when using a 5-watt capable Rino with the Alkaline Battery Pack

The Alkaline Battery Pack allows users to utilize AA alkaline batteries with their Rino, rather than the rechargeable Lithium-Ion Battery pack. This can be useful for extended trips in the field where it may not be possible to recharge the lithium-ion battery.

When used with the Alkaline Battery Pack, 5-watt capable Rino devices will be limited to transmitting at 2-watts max. Additionally, the Rino 520HCx/530HCx devices will not be able to display outside temperature.
