Turning Off Navigation Prompts on Automotive Devices

Navigation prompts are the verbal turn-by-turn directions the device provides when on a route. Some automotive devices will allow you to mute the navigation prompts only. 

To Turn Off the Navigation Prompts on These Devices:

  1. Touch Drive app Android - settings gear Settings from the main menu
  2. Touch 2019 Android PND - sound and notification Sound & Notification in the Device section
  3. Move the slider for Navigation volume all the way to the left
    • The 2019 Android PND - volume active arrow icon will change to a 2019 Android PND - volume disabled slashed icon to show that navigation volume is disabled

This will turn off any voice prompts while navigating a route.
