Changing Map Unit Settings and Position Format in Garmin Explore App

The Garmin Explore™ app offers multiple unit and position format settings that can be customized to meet different needs. You can find the available options and how to change them below.

Changing Map Unit Settings in Garmin Explore App

  1. Open the Garmin Explore app.

  2. Select the profile icon in the top left.

  3. Select Units.

  4. Select a category, then select a setting.

The setting should be saved and return to the previous screen.

There are many setting options available within the following unit categories in the app.

  • Nautical (nautical miles, meters)

Coordinates

  • Degrees
