Managing Maps With Garmin Express™ Software

If this is your first time using a computer with your device, you will need to download and install Garmin Express. For information on downloading and installing Garmin Express, see - How Do I Install Garmin Express?.

  1. Connect your device to the computer with the Garmin branded USB charging cable.

  2. Launch Garmin Express.

  3. Select your device.

  4. Garmin Express will then display available updates. If it says you are up to date, then the software and maps currently installed to your device are on the most current version(s).

NOTE: Ensure that your computer has enough disk space to download and temporarily store updates and/or map files.

  5. Select Manage Maps to add or remove maps from your device.

  6. Check or uncheck maps to add or remove them from your device.

  7. Select Apply Changes.

  8. Review and accept any prompts for Terms and Conditions or Important Notes.

  9. Once Garmin Express finishes applying the changes, disconnect your watch from the computer.
