Pairing a Bluetooth phone with an Automotive device
You can use your Automotive device with your cell phone by pairing them. This allows you to make and receive phone calls through your Garmin device.

Before you begin, set your phone to Find Me/Discoverable mode. If you are not sure how to do this, refer to the owner's manual or documentation that came with the cell phone.
Bluetooth should automatically be enabled on your device, if it is not use the following steps to enable Bluetooth:
- Touch Settings
- Touch Bluetooth
- If no check mark is present, check the box next to Bluetooth
The Bluetooth will now be enabled on your device.
To pair the phone with the device:
- Touch Settings
- Touch Bluetooth
- Touch Add Phone
- Touch OK on the message that prompts you to set your phone to Find Me or Discoverable mode
- Touch the name of the desired phone from the list of compatible Bluetooth devices in the area
- Touch OK
- Enter the passkey displayed, if prompted
A message should display that the Garmin device successfully paired with the phone. When the device and phone are within range of each other and have Bluetooth enabled they will automatically connect.
