The Subscription Portal will allow you to manage the payment information and automatic renewal settings for an Outdoor Maps+ Subscription Plan. The renewal allows for continued use of any of the downloaded maps. To activate the subscription on your compatible Garmin device(s), you must access the Map Manager settings on the device.
Log in to the Subscription Portal.
Select Manage on the Outdoor Maps+ Subscription Plan.
Select Update Payment Info.
Update or confirm billing address and click Next.
Update your current card or add new card information and select Save.
You have now updated the payment information for your Garmin subscription.
Your subscription begins when purchased and you will need to renew it at the end of your plan to continue using Outdoor Maps+ content. To avoid a lapse in your subscription, it is best to select automatic renewal.
Log in to the Subscription Portal.
Select Manage on the Outdoor Maps+ Subscription Plan.
Toggle Automatic Renewal On or Off.
Press MENU twice to access the main menu.
Select Map Manager.
NOTE: This option can also be accessed from the map page by pressing MENU, then selecting Map Setup.
Select Outdoor Maps+.
Select Check Subscription.
If prompted, select Bluetooth Setup and follow the prompts to pair your handheld, otherwise proceed to the next step.

Wait for the activation to complete.
Once the activation completes, you can proceed with downloading Outdoor Maps+ content to the GPSMAP handheld.
Select 
to access the main menu.
Select Map Manager.
NOTE: This option can also be accessed from the map page by selecting 
, then Map Setup.
Select Outdoor Maps+.
Select Check Subscription.
If prompted, select Bluetooth Setup and follow the prompts to pair your handheld, otherwise proceed to the next step.

Wait for the activation to complete.
Once the activation completes, you can proceed with downloading Outdoor Maps+ content to the Montana handheld.
Hold UP/MENU (middle-left button).
Scroll to or select 
Settings.
Select Map or Map & Navigation.
Select Map Manager.
Select Outdoor Maps+.
Press START (upper-right button) to proceed through the disclaimer and QR code.
Select Check Subscription.
Wait for the activation to complete.
The watch must be paired to a smartphone through the Garmin Connect™ app using the same account that the subscription was purchased under in order to complete activation. After you have activated the subscription, you can proceed with downloading Outdoor Maps+ content. See Getting Started With Outdoor Maps Plus on a Garmin Outdoor Watch for more instructions.

Select Download Maps.
Wait for the activation to complete.
Once the activation completes, you can proceed with downloading Outdoor Maps+ content to the device.
Select Settings.
Select Map Display.
Select Map Manager.
Select Outdoor Maps+.
Select Download Maps.
Wait for the activation to complete.
Once the activation completes, you can proceed with downloading Outdoor Maps+ content to the device.

Select Map Display
Select Map Manager.
Select Outdoor Maps+.
Select Download Maps.
Wait for the activation to complete.
Once the activation completes, you can proceed with downloading Outdoor Maps+ content to the device.
Press MENU twice to access the main menu.
Select Map Manager.

Press MENU.
Select Deactivate Device.
Select to access the main menu.
Select Map Manager.

Select Deactivate Device.
Press the START/STOP (upper-right button).
Select Map Manager.
NOTE: Some watches may need to add Map Manager to the apps list. For more information, see “Customizing the App List” in your owner's manual.
Select Outdoor Maps+.
Press and hold MENU (middle-left button).
Select Deactivate Device.
Approximately one month before an Outdoor Maps+ Annual Plan is set to expire or automatically renew (based on your chosen renewal settings), an email reminder will be sent out.
Monthly Plan subscribers will be sent a reminder email every 12 months about their subscription.
