Editing a Course Using Garmin Connect Web
Once you have saved courses to your Garmin Connect™ account, you can edit your courses as needed. If you have already sent a course to your device and then make changes to it, you will need to send it to your device again. To avoid duplicate courses on your device, you will want to delete the existing course file from your device before sending the revised course. Search your owner's manual for steps to edit or delete courses.
NOTE: After making any change to a course, even if only to reverse the direction of the course, the distance will be recalculated after the edit has been saved. The newly-calculated distance may not be equal to the original distance measured by your Garmin® device.
Edit a Garmin Course
From a web browser, sign into your Garmin Connect account.
Select Training & Planning in the navigation bar on the left.
Select Courses.
Select the course you would like to edit.
Select
(bottom right of the course information pane).Select Edit.
Make the desired changes, including:
Select the map to place additional points.
Click and drag an existing point in the course to a different area of the map to reshape the course.
Select a point and select Delete to remove a point from the course (this will not change the shape of the course, but you may need to delete points in order to drag it to the shape you want).
Select Undo at the top right to reverse the last change made to the course.
Select Redo at the top right to reverse the last undo.
Highlight the course name in the information pane and type to rename the course.
Most devices have a 15 character limit for distinguishing course names. If you have multiple course names with the same first 15 characters, the device will think they are the same course. To avoid this, make sure the names vary within the first 15 characters.
Select Add Course Point above the map in the center to add in custom points which can show in the Next Waypoint data field or Up Ahead screen on your device.
Select Save Changes.
Edit an Imported Course
From a web browser, sign into your Garmin Connect account.
Select Training & Planning in the navigation bar on the left.
Select Courses.
Select My Courses.
Select an Imported Course.
Select
(bottom right).Select Duplicate.
Select Save.
From the copied course, select
.Select Edit.
Make the desired changes.
