Pairing an Approach S60 to Garmin Connect app

When paired with an Approach S60, the Garmin Connect app can wirelessly upload and store your rounds within the Connect website. In addition, when paired with a Bluetooth Smart enabled phone, you can receive notifications from your phone right on the watch.

Pairing the Approach S60

iOS

  1. Place the iOS device within 10ft (3m) of the Approach.
  2. Ensure that Bluetooth is enabled on the iOS device (see iOS device manual for details).
  3. Tap Menu Icon on the Approach S60.
  4. Tap Settings.
  5. Tap Pair Phone.
  6. Open the Garmin Connect App on the iOS device.
  7. Tap More located in the lower right corner.
  8. Tap Garmin Devices.
  9. Tap Add Device.
  10. Tap Browse all compatible devices.
  11. Tap Approach S60.
  12. Tap Start.
  13. Tap Yes to pair.
  14. Type in the PIN displayed on the Approach when requested.
  15. Tap Done. 

Android

  1. Place the Android device within 10ft (3m) of the Approach.
  2. Ensure that Bluetooth is enabled on the Android device (see Android device manual for details).
  3. Tap Menu Icon on the Approach S60.
  4. Tap Settings.
  5. Tap Pair Phone.
  6. Open the Garmin Connect App on the mobile device.
  7. Tap Menu Icon located in the upper-left corner.
  8. Tap Garmin Devices.
  9. Tap Add Device.
  10. Tap Browse all compatible devices.
  11. Tap Approach S60.
  12. Tap Search for Device.
  13. Select Yes to pairing question.
  14. Type in the PIN displayed on the Approach when requested.
  15. Touch Ok.
