Kenwood DNX7140/9140 Navigation Screen Freezing, Unresponsive and/or Repeatedly Displays the Message GPS Firmware Update Complete

Please note that if your Kenwood DNX7140/9140 is experiencing either of the following symptoms:

1. The Navigation Screen freezes and the touch screen is unresponsive.
   
2. GPS Firmware Update Complete is displayed on the Navigation Screen for five seconds and reappears every 30 seconds.

A software update is available to correct this issue. Refer to the steps below on how to update your software:

1. Go to http://www.garmin.com/products/kenwood/
2. Click on Update
3. Click on your device model
4. Follow the on screen prompts to update your software

Garmin software updates are compatible with Windows OS only. It is strongly recommended to use a Windows PC to complete all software updates on the device.
