- Select Tracks on the Menu page.
- Select Save Track.
- Use the arrow buttons to Pick Begin Point, then press Enter to select the point.
- Use the arrow buttons to Pick End Point, then press Enter to select the point.
- Press Enter.
- Edit the track name then select OK.
- Press Page to return to the Menu page.

Using Tracback on Foretrex Devices
The Tracback feature allows you to navigate back to your starting point along your current track. Since Trackback only works with the current track log, if a saved or archived track is chosen, the Trackback option will not appear.
Before you start tracking an activity, the current track should be cleared at your starting location. This will ensure that the Tracback feature will bring you back to your starting location. If you wish to keep your current track for later reference, you can save the track before clearing.
- Select Tracks on the Menu page.
- Select Clear Track.
- Select Yes.
- Select Tracks on the Menu page.
- Select Pan & Tracback.
- Press Enter.
- Select Tracback .
With Tracback started, the arrow icon on the compass page points the direction of guided navigation. On the map page, a bold line indicates the track to follow to arrive at your starting point.
