Pairing a zumo 660 or 665 with a Bluetooth Phone or Headset

You can use your zumo with your cell phone, headset, and/or helmet by pairing them. Before you begin, set your Bluetooth phone or headset to Find Me/Discoverable mode. If you are not sure how to do this, refer to the owner's manual or documentation that came with the device.

In order to connect to the zumo, the cell phone must be running either Android 2.1 and newer or an iPhone 4S and newer running iOS 6.0 and newer. If connecting a headset, it must support the hands-free profile and use Bluetooth version 1.1 or higher. Note: These are general guidelines, and do not guarantee compatibility.

Bluetooth Should Automatically be Enabled on Your Device. If it is not, Use the Following Steps to Enable Bluetooth:

  1. Touch Tools
  2. Touch Settings
  3. Touch Bluetooth
  4. Touch the box below Bluetooth
  5. Touch Enabled
  6. Touch OK

Bluetooth will now be enabled on your device.


To Pair and Connect Your Phone With Your Device:

  1. Touch Settings
  2. Touch Bluetooth
  3. Touch Change/Add under Phone option
  4. Touch OK on the message that prompts you to set your headset/helmet to Find Me or Discoverable mode
    • The device will search for and display a list of compatible Bluetooth devices in the area
  5. Touch the name of the phone from the list
  6. Touch OK
  7. Enter the passkey 1234, if prompted

To Pair and Connect Your Headset/Helmet With Your Device:

  1. Touch Tools
  2. Touch Settings
  3. Touch Bluetooth
  4. Touch Change/Add under Audio option
  5. Touch OK on the message that prompts you to set your headset/helmet to Find Me or Discoverable mode
    • The device will search for and display a list of compatible Bluetooth devices in the area
  6. Touch the name of the desired headset/helmet from the list
  7. Touch OK
  8. Enter the passkey displayed, if prompted

The zumo should now be paired with both the phone and headset or helmet.
