How to Manually Control the Garmin Boat Switch

The Garmin Boat Switch digital switches can be manually activated and deactivated with the module's hard keys. Follow these steps to manually control the individual switches:

1. Select  to choose a switch
   • The screen displays SEL followed by the switch number
2. Hold MAN ON / MAN OFF button for two seconds
   • A manually activated channel will blink green and the screen displays ON
   • A manually deactivated channel will blink red and the screen displays OFF
3. Select until the switch selection mode is exited and CUA 001 displays

The manually activated / deactivated state is stored in the device memory and will remain active after power cycling. To reset these switches:

1. Select to choose a switch
2. Hold RESET / AUTO for two seconds and the switch indicator LED stops rapidly blinking RED or GREEN
3. Select until switch selection mode is exited and CUA 001 displays. 

NOTE: Manually activating or deactivating digital switches overrides the Garmin chartplotter digital switching page. You must clear all manually activated / deactivated switches before they can be used on the digital switching page on the Garmin chartplotter.
