Garmin Edge GroupTrack Rider to Rider Messaging

Some Edge® cycling computers include a Rider to Rider Messaging feature that can be used with the GroupTrack software feature. This feature allows you to send preset messages to other riders in your GroupTrack session as long as they are also using a compatible Edge.

To Send a Message During an Active Grouptrack Session:

1. Scroll to the GroupTrack List data screen.

2. Select _.

3. Select the Recipients you'd like to message.

4. Select the Checkmark (bottom right).

5. Select the desired preset message.

To Reply to a Message During an Active Grouptrack Session:

1. Select on the Message Notification that you've received.

2. Select the desired preset message.

After selecting the desired preset message a 5 second countdown will appear. If nothing is selected on this prompt the message will send once the 5 second countdown completes. Selecting the X during this 5 second countdown will cancel the message. Selecting the checkmark will dismiss the prompt and send the message.
