Why Is My Garmin Watch Asking for a Weather API Key?

Some Connect IQ™ store watch faces may require the use of a Weather API Key to receive weather information. This weather data is a different source than what the watch receives when paired to the Garmin Connect™ app. If you are using a watch face that uses this weather data source, you may see a message on your watch prompting you to enter a Weather API Key.

To get a Weather API Key you can check the Connect IQ store page for the watch face for more information, or reach out to the developer of the watch face.
