Alternate Time Zones on Garmin Watches

Many Garmin watches allow you to enter and view Alternate Time Zones (ALT. TIME ZONES) according to the UTC offset (i.e. UTC-6). UTC is a fixed time zone that does not observe Daylight Savings Time (DTS). If you would like to set an ALT. TIME ZONE which is not listed and the location does not observe DST, you will need to determine the UTC offset. For instructions on how to set and name an ALT. TIME ZONE on your watch, review your owner's manual.

NOTE: The selected ALT. TIME ZONE will not update once DST is turned on/off. The watch will keep track of the UTC zone offset, not by the naming of the zone.
