The Main Differences between the Original GTN and the GTN Xi
The operation of the GTN™ Xi GPS navigator is very similar, if not the same as the original GTN. However, some of the main differences are:
The GTN Xi has an updated IPS LCD screen, which upgrades the resolution from 134 DPI to 187 DPI.
It has a more modern look than the original GTN did.
The location of the buttons on the GTN Xi was moved closer to the bottom right knob.
The GTN Xi has a dual processor, which makes it a lot faster than the original GTN.
All the databases are stored internally on the GTN Xi.
The GTN Xi is lighter in weight.
The GTN Xi draws less current than the original GTN.
