NOTE: To fully complete the service transfer, the new or replacement device will need to be paired with the Garmin Connect™ app for fitness watches or Garmin Express™ software for automotive devices. For Garmin Dash Cam enabled devices, the device will need to be paired with the Garmin Drive™ app, or dēzl™ app depending on the device's app compatibility.
To Register Your New/Replacement Device
Sign in to your Subscription Portal.
Select Manage for your original device.
Select Change Device.
Select Register.
Enter the serial number of the new or replacement device.
Select Submit.
The new/replacement device will now be registered.
To Transfer the Subscription to Your New/Replacement Device
Log in to the Subscription Portal.
Select Manage on the device you want to change.
Select Change Device on the subscription you want to change.
Select the replacement device.
Select Confirm.
The subscription has now been transferred to your new/replacement device.
NOTE: As of July 30th, 2024, the Garmin Dash Cam™ Standard Plan will no longer be available for new subscriptions. Existing Standard Plan subscriptions can still be transferred to new/replacement dash cam devices that are compatible with the Standard Plan.
