Managing My Garmin Subscription Service

The Subscription Portal will allow you to manage most Garmin subscriptions. Select a topic below for subscription management instructions.

NOTE: If you do not see your subscription(s), verify that you have logged in with the correct email address. For Bounce™, inReach®, and Outdoor Maps+ subscriptions, see Related.


Updating Payment Information

  1. Log in to the Subscription Portal.

  2. Select Manage on the device you want to update.

  3. Select Update Payment Info

  4. Confirm or edit your billing address and select Save.

  5. Update your current card or add new card information and select Save.

You have now updated the payment information for your Garmin subscription. 


Downloading Invoices

  1. Log in to the Subscription Portal.

  2. Select Manage on the device you want to update.

  3. Select Update Payment Info

  4. Select Download Invoice to download the most recent invoice.

  5. Select download iconto download a previous invoice.

You can now view the invoice details. 


Changing a Subscription Plan

  1. Log in to the Subscription Portal.

  2. Select Manage on the device you want to change.

  3. Select Change Plan.

  4. Select Select This Plan under the new plan.

    • Changing from a contract to a non-contract plan may result in early cancellation fees. Select Change Plan to acknowledge.

  5. Select the box to acknowledge Automatic Renewal.

  6. Select Accept & Continue.

You have now changed the plan for your Garmin subscription.

NOTE: Plan changes are automatic and you must wait 24 hours to make further changes to this device's plan. As of July 30th, 2024, the Garmin Dash Cam™ Standard Plan will no longer be available for new subscriptions. Existing Standard Plan subscriptions will continue. If you change to another plan from the Standard Plan, you will no longer have the Standard Plan as an option. For more information, please see Changing a Garmin Dash Cam Vault Subscription Plan.


Transferring a Subscription to a New/Replacement Device

NOTE: To fully complete the service transfer, the new or replacement device will need to be paired with the Garmin Connect™ app for fitness watches or Garmin Express™ software for automotive devices. For Garmin Dash Cam enabled devices, the device will need to be paired with the Garmin Drive™ app, or dēzl™ app depending on the device's app compatibility.

To Register Your New/Replacement Device

  1. Sign in to your Subscription Portal.

  2. Select Manage for your original device.

  3. Select Change Device.

  4. Select Register.

  5. Enter the serial number of the new or replacement device.

  6. Select Submit.

The new/replacement device will now be registered.


To Transfer the Subscription to Your New/Replacement Device

  1. Log in to the Subscription Portal.

  2. Select Manage on the device you want to change.

  3. Select Change Device on the subscription you want to change.

  4. Select the replacement device.

    • If you have not already added the new/replacement device to your account, you will need to register it in the Subscription Portal by following the instructions above. 

  5. Select Confirm.

The subscription has now been transferred to your new/replacement device.

NOTE: As of July 30th, 2024, the Garmin Dash Cam™ Standard Plan will no longer be available for new subscriptions. Existing Standard Plan subscriptions can still be transferred to new/replacement dash cam devices that are compatible with the Standard Plan. Cancelling a Subscription Service

  1. Log in to the Subscription Portal.

  2. Select Manage on the device you want to change.

  3. Select Cancel Plan under the current plan.

    • Canceling a contract plan early may result in cancellation charges. See the Terms and Conditions within the Subscription Portal for more information.

    • Canceling a Vault storage plan will stop service at the end of the plan term. You will continue to have access to plan features and functionality until that time.

    • Canceling a combination Vault/LTE subscription plan will take effect immediately. If applicable, a prorated refund will be credited to your account.

  4. Check the box confirming that canceling will turn off subscription-related features and functions.

  5. Select Cancel Service.

NOTE: As of July 30th, 2024, the Garmin Dash Cam Standard Plan will no longer be available for new subscriptions. Existing Standard plan subscriptions will continue. If you cancel the Standard Plan, it will no longer be available as an option.
