Device Compatibility With the Earthmate App

The Earthmate® App allows you to sync a device for trip planning and activity review without requiring a data connection.

Certain features like navigation or recording a track of where you have been require a compatible Garmin device. It is not required to have a compatible Garmin device to log in to the mobile app, download maps to the app, create waypoints or courses, or sync data between the Garmin Explore™ website and Earthmate app. Logging in to the app and downloading maps require a data connection.
