Automotive Devices with the Media Player, Music Controls or Music Player App

Numerous Garmin automotive devices have music controls for viewing and managing music or other audio playing on your paired and connected smartphone or tablet.  This allows you to see the information such as song title and length, artist, and album name on your navigator.  Audiobooks typically display author, book name, chapter, segment length, and total play time.  Controls such as play, pause, forward and back are also displayed. If your device supports Alexa and it is enabled, you can use voice commands to play music from streaming accounts such as Amazon Music, Pandora, SiriusXM, iHeartRadio. These features make it easy to enjoy your favorite music while navigating, ensuring a more enjoyable and safer driving experience.

There are several ways the media player may appear:  full screen, to the side of the map, and as a brief slide up while on the main screen or map screen.

(Note: music features vary across devices. Screenshots below were captured from Garmin DriveSmart 66 with Amazon Alexa.)
