inReach Messages Not Received by Contacts
IMPORTANT: Most issues related to messaging on an inReach® satellite communicator can be resolved by syncing the device with the account. For more information on why syncing is important and necessary, review section 2.2 of the Service Terms for inReach Consumer Service Plans.
If you are having issues with inReach messages not being received by contacts, try these common solutions before attempting any other troubleshooting:
Verify that your inReach subscription is active.

Ensure you are outside with a clear view of the sky, have allowed enough time for messages to send, and that your inReach device shows messages have been successfully sent.

Sync your inReach device as this can resolve most messaging issues.
