  • 6% Max Incline:

    • Tacx Flow Smart

NOTE: This value is calculated with a body weight of 143lbs (65 kg) in reference to the "strength" of the resistance unit when cycling 6 mph (10 km/h). It is important to understand that when your body weight is higher, the maximum incline the trainer is able to simulate will be lower. This does not include the weight of your bike which will also have an effect on the maximum incline.

Dynamic inertia is developed to control the mass inertia (ride feel) as realistically as possible. In contrast to the mass inertia of a flywheel on a bike, dynamic inertia compensates for weight, speed and angle of inclination. This ensures the most realistic and smooth ride feel. Other features that derive from Dynamic Inertia are Road Feel and Descent Simulation.

Trainers that support this feature:

  • Tacx NEO 3M Smart

  • Tacx NEO 2T Smart

  • Tacx NEO 2 Smart

The Tacx NEO Smart series trainers will automatically accelerate as you descend a hill when used with training apps such as the Tacx Training app, Tacx Desktop app, or Zwift. You will feel a decrease in resistance and the flywheel, powered by an internal motor, will spin faster.

NOTE: This feature requires the trainer to be plugged into external power.

Pedal Stroke Analysis

Measure the position of your left and right legs 1during a ride to analyze your pedaling technique and develop a more effective stroke. Connect with a Garmin Edge device to view your left/right (L/R) power balance data during your ride and after uploading your ride to Garmin Connect.
