Using an ECHOMAP to Configure a Garmin Autopilot without a GHC

The following ECHOMAP devices can be used to commission a Garmin Autopilot without a GHC

• ECHOMAP Plus 6x / 7x / 9x

• ECHOMAP UHD 6x / 7x / 9x

• ECHOMAP Ultra Series

• ECHOMAP UHD2 7x / 9x 

• ECHOMAP Ultra 2

Accessing Autopilot Commissioning on Compatible ECHOMAP

From the main screen select, Home > Settings > My Vessel > Autopilot Installation Menu > OK > Wizards > Dockside Wizard or Sea Trial Wizard follow the onscreen prompts

NOTE: Depending on the specific Autopilot system and configuration, the user may have to assign GPS and Speed sources, calibrate a feedback sensor, verify tachometer, test steering direction, and more.
