Using the Find My Gear Feature on the Garmin Golf App

If you misplace a compatible Garmin device or a golf club equipped with an Approach® CT10 sensor during your round, you can use the Find My Gear feature to view the last known location. After pairing your compatible device with the Garmin Golf™ app, a popup will appear in the app with the new Find My Gear features available.

What Gear Can Be Found Using Find My Gear?

The Find My Gear feature allows you to view the last known location of the following devices:

  • Approach® CT10 club tracking sensors

NOTE:  Find My Gear can only locate three golf clubs equipped with Approach CT10 sensors at a time.

  • Approach® Z30 range finder

  • Approach® Z82 range finder

Finding Your Gear

  1. Open the Garmin Golf app.

  2. Select Profile.

  3. Select My Devices.

  4. Select Find My Gear.

NOTE: If needed, you may see "Go to Settings" to manage permissions for the Garmin Golf app. Location permission set to Always is required.

Your tracked gear will now appear on the map with a last known location, your distance from that location, and the time the gear was located there. Force closing the Garmin Golf app on an iOS phone may interfere with the Find My Gear feature.
