I Have a White or Blank Screen on My Garmin Watch

NOTICE: This FAQ applies to the following Garmin watches:

If you see a white or blank screen on your watch, you may have set the flashlight feature for the shortcut screen.

  • If you see a blank screen, press and hold the bottom button. If "Shortcut Settings" appears,  you are viewing the shortcut screen and it is set to the flashlight feature.

  • If you see a white screen, swipe left on the screen. If the watch goes back to the watch face this means you are viewing the shortcut screen and it is set to the flashlight feature.

Steps To Prevent White or Blank Screen

  1. From the watch face, swipe right

  2. While viewing the white or blank screen, press and hold the bottom button

  3. Select Shortcut Settings

  4. Select a different shortcut (other than Flashlight) or Disable

If neither of these things resolves the issue, hold the top right button until the watch turns off. Press the same top right button to turn the watch back on.
