Pro 550 Plus "Wait for Collar" Message

If the Pro 550 Plus handheld has not communicated with the collar since the collar has been powered on, a message will appear on the screen stating Wait for Collar.  Once this message goes away the communication has been acquired and training can be utilized.  

If communication is lost or GPS signal is lost on the collar, the handheld will show a pointer and distance to the last known location of the collar.  A circle with a "?" will display on the screen.  If the message or icon appear on the screen, try one of the following solutions.

• Ensure that the dog collar device has acquired satellites (flashes 2-3 times then pauses sequence)
  
• Ensure that the handheld device and the dog collar device has adequate line of sight
