Why Are My Activity Metrics Different When Compared to Another Website?

A Garmin Connect™ account connected to a third-party platform such as Strava, will send saved activities across the multiple platforms where the data can be compared. Metrics such as distance, speed, pace, or time may differ between sites due to a different interpretation of the data or a proprietary algorithm that is being used. Additionally, editing or manually entering data in a Garmin Connect activity will not affect the activity uploaded to other platforms.
