Waypoint, Track, and Route List Missing in BaseCamp

If the waypoint, track, and route list is missing in BaseCamp™ software, it can be restored by resetting the BaseCamp program back to the default settings. To reset the BaseCamp program to the default settings, follow the instructions below.

Windows:

  1. Open BaseCamp program
  2. Click Edit in the menu bar
  3. Click Options
  4. Select the General icon in the left column
  5. Click the Reset button in the Reset Options section
  6. Click OK when it prompts to reset all BaseCamp options

After clicking the OK button, the BaseCamp program will close and re-open automatically. BaseCamp software is back to the default settings and the waypoint, track, and route list should be visible now.


Mac OS X:

  1. Open BaseCamp program
  2. Click on BaseCamp in the menu bar
  3. Click Preferences
  4. Select the General icon in the top row
  5. Click the Reset Factory Defaults button
  6. Click the Restart button when it prompts the Reset Preferences window

After clicking the Restart button, the BaseCamp program will close and re-open automatically. BaseCamp software will be back to the default settings and the waypoint, track, and route list should now be visible.
