Locating Your Device Unit ID in the Garmin Connect App
If you are trying to locate the serial number of your Garmin® device and you have either lost the box or the serial number label is missing from the back of the device, you can find the Device or Unit ID number using the Garmin Connect™ app if your device is listed.
NOTE: The steps below will work even if your device is listed as "Not Connected".
Open the Garmin Connect app.
Select More (bottom right).
Select Garmin Devices.
Press and hold the screen where the name of your device is listed.
iOS: will display Device ID.
Android: will display Unit ID.
The ID number can be provided to Garmin Product Support if you are asked to provide the serial number of your device.
