Locating A Lost Garmin Device Using Garmin Connect

Garmin® cannot remotely track, access, or disable lost devices. However, if your Garmin device is missing, there are a couple of things you can check to help locate it.

NOTE: If your inquiry is for an inReach® handheld device, see  Locating My Lost or Stolen inReach Device

Check Garmin Connect Account

If your Garmin device was paired with the Garmin Connect™ app on your smartphone, you can check its last sync time via the web version of Garmin Connect. A recent sync indicates the device was within Bluetooth® range of your smartphone and still powered on.

  1. From a web browser, sign into your Garmin Connect account.

  2. Select Home from the left-hand navigation bar.

The Home section will display the date and time of the device's last sync in the top-right corner:

Use the Garmin Connect App to Help Find Your Device

If your Garmin device was previously connected to your smartphone or tablet via the Garmin Connect app, and it's currently within Bluetooth® range, the "Find My Device" feature (also known as "Find My Watch" or "Find My Edge") may help you locate it.

Check the Connected Features section of your owner's manual to confirm if your device is compatible with this feature.

  2. Select More (bottom right).
