Accuracy of Approach G80 Radar
The Approach® G80 golf device helps improve your game by making your time at the driving range more effective. The radar features of the Approach G80 device can help you with your swing tempo, and distance accuracy. You can also play virtual rounds to familiarize yourself with a course before playing it, or to play courses all over the world.
The accuracy of the Approach G80 device's radar is outlined below.
Radar Accuracy
- Clubhead speed accuracy: +/- 5 mph
- Ball speed accuracy: +/- 2 mph
- Swing tempo accuracy: +/- 0.3
- Carry distance accuracy: +/- 5 yards1
There are several factors that go into determining total distance, such as elevation, clubhead speed, and ball speed. For this reason, an accuracy spec is not given for total distance. With proper adjustment for roll, based on your swing style, you should achieve total distance accuracy within +/- 10 yards.
