Streaming Music Playback Options Available on my Rv-bbt601

To stream music on the Rv-bbt601 you will have to have a phone or portable media player paired via Bluetooth.  This allows you to listen to audio from the phone or media player using the BT source available under the Garmin Music app.

A common application would be to use a phone app such as Pandora, Spotify, TuneIn Radio, Google Play Music, etc. to stream via a phones internet connection.

While the PND Remote runs Android OS, app media playback will only work when a separate external device, like a phone, is connected via Bluetooth.  It is not possible to load applications and stream audio directly from the Garmin PND Remote.

Pairing Your Phone or Media Player

Using Bluetooth wireless technology, you can pair your phone or portable media player with the RV HUB dock. This allows you to listen to audio from the phone or media player using the BT source. When pairing a phone, you can also use the RV HUB system to make hands-free phone calls.

      1. Place the RV HUB remote in the RV HUB dock.
      2. Place your phone or media player within 3 m (10 ft.) of the RV HUB dock.
      3. On the RV HUB remote, select Settings > Bluetooth, and select the Discoverable check box.
      4. On your phone or media player, open the Bluetooth settings, and search for available devices.
      5. From the list of nearby devices, select the RV-BBT600 device.
      6. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the pairing process.
      7. If your phone or media player does not immediately connect to the stereo, repeat steps 3 through 6.

To prevent interruption to audio streaming over Bluetooth wireless, you should turn off the Discoverable setting after pairing a Bluetooth device to the stereo.
