Setting Up a Replacement Garmin DriveSmart™ 65, 66, 76, 86 with Amazon Alexa

If you receive a replacement Garmin DriveSmart™ 65, 66, 76, 86 with Amazon Alexa device or otherwise replace your original device with another, follow the steps below to set up your replacement.

To Set Up a Replacement Device:

  1. Uninstall the Garmin Drive App from your phone.
    • For steps on how to do this, refer to your phone’s instruction manual.
  2. Go to the Devices & Content page on your Amazon account to remove the registration of the Garmin DriveSmart™ with Amazon Alexa device from your Amazon account.
  3. Remove the Garmin DriveSmart™ with Amazon Alexa device from your phone’s Bluetooth pairing history.
    • For steps on how to do this, refer to your phone’s instruction manual.
  4. Install the Garmin Drive App and follow the steps in the app to pair the new Garmin DriveSmart™ with Amazon Alexa device.

The Garmin Drive App will now be paired with the replacement device.
