Setting Up a Replacement Garmin DriveSmart™ 65, 66, 76, 86 with Amazon Alexa
If you receive a replacement Garmin DriveSmart™ 65, 66, 76, 86 with Amazon Alexa device or otherwise replace your original device with another, follow the steps below to set up your replacement.
To Set Up a Replacement Device:
- Uninstall the Garmin Drive App from your phone.
- For steps on how to do this, refer to your phone’s instruction manual.
- Go to the Devices & Content page on your Amazon account to remove the registration of the Garmin DriveSmart™ with Amazon Alexa device from your Amazon account.
- Remove the Garmin DriveSmart™ with Amazon Alexa device from your phone’s Bluetooth pairing history.
- For steps on how to do this, refer to your phone’s instruction manual.
- For steps on how to do this, refer to your phone’s instruction manual.
- Install the Garmin Drive App and follow the steps in the app to pair the new Garmin DriveSmart™ with Amazon Alexa device.
The Garmin Drive App will now be paired with the replacement device.
