Resetting the Garmin ActiveCaptain App
At times it may be necessary to reset the ActiveCaptain App for troubleshooting. The ActiveCaptain App does not store user data or charts in a cloud. This means if the app is deleted or reset, user data and charts will be removed from the app. Prior to resetting the ActiveCaptain App, make sure to back up user data and charts. See Backing Up User Data and Charts in ActiveCaptain for steps.
To reset the ActiveCaptain App
Launch the ActiveCaptain App
Select Settings in the bottom right corner
Select Reset App
