Automotive Device Prompting to Simulate Route

You can use your device indoors, or in a location where you cannot get an adequate GPS signal, by enabling Simulator Mode. When this happens, the device uses your last known location and simulates navigating a route. The device is not locked onto satellite signals but acts as though it is navigating a route.

To begin navigating a route in real-time, you will need to ensure the device has a clear view of the sky to acquire satellite signals, then enable Location Services on your device.

To Enable the Location on the Device:

1. Open the device's Settings menu 
2. Touch Personal 
   • Some devices skip this step
3. Touch Location
4. Touch the switch next to Location to turn it on

The location will now be enabled and the device will now navigate you through each step of the route.
