How to Lock a User From Logging in on a Professional Account

If you are the Administrator user on the account, you can lock other users from being able to log in. This prevents the user from logging in into their account and disables all MapShare™ page capabilities for that user. The instructions below will walk you through locking users.

Locking Users on a Professional Account:

1. Log in as the Administrator at explore.garmin.com.

2. Select the Groups & Users tab.

   

3. Under All Users, select for the user you want to lock.

4. Select Lock User.

   

5. A confirmation box will pop up.

   

6. Select OK.

The status will then change from Active to Locked and that user will no longer be able to log into their account.
