- From the Dog List select the collar for which you want to setup the Wi-Fi
- In the lower right, select the menu icon (3 horizontal lines)
- Select Collar Wi-Fi Setup
- You will see a prompt that the collar is scanning for nearby networks
- Select the network to which you want your collar to connect and enter the password
- Select the green check mark when you're finished entering the password

Software Updates for Alpha T20 and Alpha TT25 Collars
The Alpha® T 20 and Alpha® TT 25 series collars can have their software updated via Wi-Fi or through Garmin Express™ software (see related content below for Garmin Express instructions).
Updating Software On Your Collars
There are two methods available to setup the Wi-Fi on your collar.
Setup Collars Wi-Fi Through Garmin Express™ Software
- Connect your collar to your Windows or Mac computer
- Open Garmin Express program
- Choose Add Device if you have not already done so
- You are prompted to enter an email address if you want to register your collar
- Select Next
- Choose a Nickname for your collar (helpful to use an identifying name if you have multiple collars) and select Next
- If you see a network already listed your collar is already setup, if not select Add a New Network¹
- Choose a network from those available and complete the process
Setup Collar Wi-Fi Through a Handheld
- Select Dog List
- Select the collar for which you want to setup the Wi-Fi
- Select the Down Arrow
next to the dogs name - Select Collar Settings
- Select Collar Wi-Fi Setup
- You will see a prompt that the collar is scanning for nearby networks
- Select the network you want your collar to connect to and enter the password
- Select the green check mark when done
Software updated through Wi-Fi will be done when the collar is on the charger and has a good Wi-Fi signal. The update process over Wi-Fi may take 30-45 minutes. When the software update process takes place the collar LED will flash white indicating that it is installing the software update.

Note: Wi-Fi setup is not available on the Alpha 100, Alpha 10 or Pro 550 Plus.
