Meaning of LED lights on the TruSwing
The Garmin TruSwing™ golf club swing sensor features an LED that will flash and light up with different colors to indicate its current status. Depending on what color appears and whether it is a solid light or flashing will indicate different things. Below is a list of the LED indicator options and what they mean:
- Flashing red (for 5 seconds after turning on): The battery is low
- Flashing red (connected to a power source): The device is charging
- Solid red (after swinging): A swing was recorded
- Solid red (connected to a power source): Charging is complete
- Alternating red and blue: The device is in pairing mode
- Rapid blinking indicates the unit is actively detecting a swing
- Slow blinking indicates the unit is in power save mode waiting for movement to start recording
- Solid red and blue: A software update is in progress
- Flashing blue*: The device is paired with a compatible mobile device
- Rapid blinking indicates the unit is actively detecting a swing
- Slow blinking indicates the unit is in power save mode waiting for movement to start recording
*If the TruSwing sensor LED is blue but solid instead of flashing the unit will need to be restarted. To restart the TruSwing sensor press and hold the power key for about 15 seconds or until the LED shuts off. After that the unit can be turned back on and used again.
