Using Third-Party Maps With a Garmin Watch
Garmin® watches are meant to be used with Garmin maps. These can be purchased at Garmin Outdoor Maps.
Garmin cannot provide support or guarantee compatibility for map products obtained from other companies. Garmin cannot cover the watch under warranty if it becomes unusable as a result of using third-party maps. Contact the manufacturer of the map for support of third-party maps, including: setup, usage, and error messages.
Checking Map Compatibility of Garmin Maps
Go to Garmin Outdoor Maps.
Select a map.
Select Compatible Devices.
Your watch is compatible it if is listed in the Compatible Devices section for the map.
