Garmin Quickfit and Quick Release Watch Band Difference

QuickFit and Quick Release are two different band styles offered for many Garmin® watches. For details on band compatibility with your watch, refer to your owner's manual.

NOTE: QuickFit and Quick Release bands are not interchangeable with each other.

QuickFit

QuickFit Watch Bands found on larger watches such as the Fēnix® 7 series watches, are a Garmin proprietary design that come in 20mm, 22mm, or 26mm sizes.

To remove this band type from the watch, slide the latch highlighted in the center arrow below.  To install, align the band with the watch and press it onto the watch pin.

Quick Release

Quick Release is an industry standard band option in 18mm, 20mm, or 22mm sizes that Garmin and other manufacturers offer.

To remove and install this band type, slide the quick-release pin inward on the spring bar as shown below.
