Understanding Course Stats in Garmin Golf and Garmin Connect

Course Stats for golf scorecards can be viewed on the Garmin Golf™ app or the Garmin Connect™ website. Stats are compiled for multiple rounds played on the same course. Stat Tracking needs to be enabled on your device to record putts and fairway hits. See the owner's manual for how to enable that setting.

The following information will help you better understand the stats that are shown in Course Stats.


Overview of Course Stats

After selecting a course in the Course Stats section, you will see averages for different stats.

Average Score

Average Score graph

The average score shows between the lowest and highest scores recorded for rounds played on the course.

Average GIR

Average GIR graph

Greens in Regulation (GIR) is when your ball makes it to the green in two stokes under par. The average GIR shows between lowest and highest percentage GIR rounds played on the course.

Average Putts per Hole

Average Putts Per Hole graph

The average putts per hole shows between the lowest and highest average putts per hole for rounds played on the course

Drive Accuracy

Drive Accuracy graph

Drive accuracy shows the percentages for drives on par 4 and par 5 holes that land on the fairway or miss left or right. 


Hole Stats

On the Garmin Connect website, you can see the average stats per hole by selecting See Hole Stats at the top of the page.

NOTE: The "Dream" round is the lowest score recorded for each hole in all rounds you played on the course.
