(2015) Service Advisory 1516 Rev B: Loss of Engine Indication System (EIS)

AFFECTED PRODUCTS:
 G1000 equipped Diamond DA 40 and DA 40F with system software version 321.24 and earlier (and 369.13 and earlier) are affected.

ISSUE:
 Loss of EIS may occur during extended (> 5 seconds) engine shutdowns during flight.  EIS immediately appears after engine restart.

RESOLUTION:
 Contact a Garmin dealer for inclusion of Garmin STC Service Bulletin 1534.

NOTE

Garmin STC Service Bulletin 1534 does not cover software version 0321.24 for corrective action.
